Numbers 7.48 – Offering on the seventh day

While there are thirteen incidental references in Numbers 7 to a silver bowl from each tribe being seventy shekels worth, there is another incidental reference to seven in the following passage from Numbers 7,

“On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, leader of the children of Ephraim, presented an offering” (Numbers 7.48).

Tribes made their offerings of the silver bowls on the first, second, and so on succeeding days during this time, and so Ephraim’s presentation happened on the seventh day, in which nothing significant appears with the numbering.
