Incidental references to seven fill Numbers 7, with one exception. First, here are the incidental references and you will notice that they are all virtually the same:

Num. 7.13 His offering was one silver platter, the weight of which was one hundred and thirty shekels, and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering;

That makes thirteen incidental references to one silver bowl of seventy shekels for the twelve tribes of Israel, and the last reference in verse 85, summarizes what each leader from each tribe brought.

In the middle of this there was a reference to a seven, but we will look at that in the next post.
