One of our readers, April Kesterson, pointed out that Joshua 3.10 refers to the seven major nations that God through the Israelites would drive out of the Land of Canaan,

And Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites…” (Joshua 3.10).

The nations that the Lord God would drive out before the Israelites:

1. The Canaanites
2. The Hittites
3. The Hivites
4. The Perizzites
5. The Girgashites
6. The Amorites
7. The Jebusites
