Listen to Genesis 12 and hear what God thought of Abraham:

“I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

What did God promise Abraham?

1. He would become a great nation. 
2. He would bless Abraham. 
3. His name would be great. 
4. He himself would be a blessing. 
5. Those who blessed Abraham would be blessed. 
6. Those who cursed Abraham would be cursed. 
7. In him all the families of the earth would be blessed.
